The Long Dark is coming soon to Xbox Game Pass on consoles

A new slate of games is coming soon to Xbox Game Pass on in April. This month’s Xbox One games mostly come from smaller studios, and include a few titles that you’ll be able to play on their release day.

The first game coming to Game Pass later this month will be The Long Dark, the cold, snow-filled first-person survival game, which arrives on April 16. A few days later, on April 21, Xbox players will finally get the chance to play Gato Roboto, a Metroid-like 2D platformer about a cat with a mech suit. On April 23, Deliver Us the Moon, a Sci-Fi thriller about one astronaut sent on a dangerous mission to the moon in order to save humanity from an apocalypse.

On April 30 Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get two new console games, HyperDot and Levelhead. HyperDot is a top-down, highly stylized, 2D action game that’s all about dodging obstacles the game throws at you in progressively harder levels. Levelhead is a traditional 2D platformer that also lets players create and share their own custom made levels.

While all these new titles are on their way to Game Pass, there are also a few titles leaving this month. Here’s a list of all the games that are leaving Xbox Game Pass on April 30.

  • The Banner Saga 2
  • Bomber Crew
  • Braid
  • Fallout 4
  • Full Metal Furies
  • Metal Slug 3
  • Ruiner
  • Silence: The Whispered World 2
  • Smoke and Sacrifice
  • Wolfenstein: The New Order

Xbox Game Pass for consoles is $9.99 a month and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which includes Xbox One and PC access, is $14.99 per month. Xbox Game Pass for PC, which is currently in beta, costs $4.99 per month. Microsoft is also offering new subscribers a $1-per-month promotion for new Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.

With the next generation of Xbox on the horizon, Microsoft’s 4K-ready Xbox One X is often on sale for much lower than its $499 launch price.
