Resident Evil 3 remake is getting a demo soon

After the success of a reimagined Resident Evil 2 in 2019, a Resident Evil 3 remake is on the way, this time exploring the story of Jill Valentine and the nefarious Nemesis bioweapon. Jill has to get out of Raccoon City, all the while avoiding an assassination attempt from the biggest, scariest, and most toothy boy around.

Capcom has announced that players will be able to try the Resident Evil 3 remake soon with a demo.

Resident Evil 3 will have some changes from the original release, as well as a new asymmetrical multiplayer mode called Resident Evil: Resistance, where one player masterminds a complex maze, and the others try to escape.

Fans are more excited for the single-player campaign, especially after the positive reception of Resident Evil 2. While the games take place in the same city, and have a few similar elements like a big, persistent antagonist, the stories are quite different. Resident Evil 3 is also the last of the true classic Resident Evil titles before the franchise began to heavily experiment with follow-up titles Code: Veronica and Resident Evil 4.

The full game is set to release on April 3 on PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One, so we can expect the demo to come soon, and show off a slice of Raccoon City before the entire campaign is unveiled.
