Target has a 25% off sale on games, but you’ll have to leave the house to get them

If you’re in the market for new video games Target has you covered, but only if you can make it to one of its stores. The retailer is currently offering 25% off a wide variety of games, some of which are already priced well below what they were at launch.

The sale includes Switch games like Just Dance 2020, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games: Tokyo 2020. While not all of these games are particularly new, discounted prices on them all pretty rare, especially the Mario games which are still $59.99 without a sale.

Target’s also offering up the 25% discount on titles for other consoles as well including some of last year’s most popular games, like Madden 20, for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which is $39.99 right now, before the sale. There’s even an discount on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which is $59.99 on PS4 and $44.99 on Xbox One.

But this sale doesn’t just apply to blockbusters, Target’s got a few hidden gems sprinkled in there too. Some of last year’s best games like Remedy’s Control, which sends players through a dreamlike government facility, or the strange post-apocalyptic world of Death Stranding. From Software’s challenging samurai epic, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is also along sale, along with The Outer Worlds, one of last year’s best RPGs.

The sale also includes some older games from the last couple of years that you may have missed like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Forza Horizon 4. If you just want to pick up Red Dead Redemption 2 on consoles and head back into the wild west, this sale’s got you covered too.

For a look at all the games available in Target’s 25% off sale, you can check out its website. But bear in mind that if you want to cash in on any of the deals, you’ll need to head to your nearest Target store.
