Pokémon Home, el nuevo sistema de almacenamiento en la nube Pokémon, lanza en febrero

Cloud-based Pokémon storage system Pokémon Home is set to be released in February, The Pokémon Company announced during Nintendo’s Pokémon Direct this morning. Pokémon Home will let players store and transfer their Pokémon between games.

When the app is out, players will be able to access Pokémon Home through their mobile devices — an upgrade from the earlier Pokémon Bank system that only let players store Pokémon on their consoles.

Pokémon Home was first announced in May 2019 ahead of Pokémon Sword and Shield’s November release date. Based on a diagram shown at the 2019 Pokémon Press Conference announcement, Pokémon can be transferred to Pokémon Home from Pokémon Go, Pokémon Bank (the Nintendo 3DS storage system), Let’s Go, Pikachu!, Let’s Go, Eevee!, and Pokémon Sword and Shield. Pokémon can only be transferred into one game, though: Pokémon Sword and Shield.

The controversial thing, however, is which Pokémon can be transferred from Pokémon Home to Sword and Shield. During Nintendo’s Treehouse Live presentation at E3 2019, producer Junichi Masuda said that only Galar region Pokémon will be able to transfer into Sword and Shield.
